Selling on Amazon is part art, part science. And word-of-mouth is a core element of whatever sales approach you take. Which means working with influencers or affiliates. The good thing is these folks have built an audience that trusts them to recommend good products.
So, if you’re social media shy like me, having this option to advertise your products isn’t just useful, it’s a relief. But you still need to manage these relationships. And it can be challenging, especially if you manage it manually. The two platforms I’m looking at today are designed to connect you with influencers, nurture those relationships, and make life a little easier.
They both have their own useful features depending on what you’re looking for. Let’s take a look at Levanta vs Archer Affiliates in more detail.
Levanta vs. Archer Affiliates: Key Differences
- Levanta connects you to a pool of vetted influencers, global publishers, affiliates, and other useful sources for promoting your brand or product. With Archer Affiliates, you only get access to a pool of Amazon focused influencers.
- Levanta supports certain international Amazon stores, like the UK, Germany, Canada, and France. Archer Affiliates uses Amazon’s Attribution API only within the US, and for any international stores your partners are signed up for, it works only as a complementary tool alongside Amazon’s OneLink, the app that automatically redirects users to their local Amazon store.
- You also get a large pool of creators to choose from with Levanta: 50K+ vetted creators. This means more variety, more opportunities to experiment with different content angles, and the ability to reach a broader audience. With Archer Affiliates, you only have access to 2500+ Amazon influencers.
- Amazon sellers using Levanta can take advantage of its Creator Connection integration to manage their Amazon Attribution and Creator Connections affiliate programs from one dashboard. Archer Affiliates also provides Creator Connections campaign support (with no upfront fees, only pay-per-sale), but it doesn’t provide direct seller communication between you and your Amazon partners the way Levanta does.
- Levanta gives you a wider pool of content creators and publishers to choose from, while Archer Affiliates has a smaller but curated selection.
- Levanta’s pricing structure is a monthly or annual fee depending on which you prefer. With Archer Affiliates, the fee they charge per sale changes depending on your business context and specific factors.
The Bottom Line
Levanta and Archer Affiliates do have a lot in common so it can be difficult to decide. But in my opinion, it comes down to your influencer marketing strategy and the pricing, of course!
Archer Affiliates is great if you want to nurture your influencer relationships. Remember, it takes a lot of effort out of finding trusted affiliates. The pricing is also less prohibitive for new businesses. If you have a smaller budget, the lack of a monthly fee is going to appeal to you.
However, I think Levanta is the stronger platform if you want a wider advertising strategy with more affiliate options to choose from, along with building connections with publications and other services.
So: if you’re new and you want to save as much money as possible, and you want to focus on a small pool of influencers, Archer Affiliates is a good choice. If you want a clear, set pricing model and the ability to reach a larger group of influencers, Levanta is the better choice.

When to Use Levanta
Levanta is aimed at Amazon sellers wanting to gather a large pool of influencers and affiliates, and manage them, along with products, on one platform.

You can easily manage more than one brand using Levanta, which I like. The UI is super easy to navigate, and the learning curve isn’t steep. I like that you can quickly flip between brands, see an overview of products, and manage your creators easily.

You can update your product commissions easily. This is useful for me if I want to really push a particular product and I want influencers to be keen on making sales. I like that I can see Levanta’s fees upfront, too. It makes it much easier for me to calculate what my total profit will be.
You can also add discounts and vouchers, which automatically expire without me having to do anything.

One of Levanta’s strengths is the ability to connect not just with affiliates, but also publications, deal sites, and more. I don’t have time to research platforms and publications to find out whether they’re trustworthy or not, so having Levanta present them to me makes it so much easier.
You can also filter your search results. For example, you can only look for influencers with a certain number of followers. Again, this takes a lot of the stress out of this process for me. I can create a sign-up page for new creators to join, which matches my branding; then once they start signing up, I can vet and approve their applications. This makes the whole process very smooth and easy on all sides.
Levanta’s analytics are comprehensive as well. I can quickly view stats like conversions and sales, and dive into them more if I want to. I can also view how well particular affiliates or influences are performing. Being able to see that easily makes decision-making and strategic planning much easier.
With Levanta, you have to pay both a monthly fee and a percentage of sales. The higher the price plan you pick, the lower the percentage of sales you need to pay. These fees are manageable if you are already investing in paid campaigns, and are planning on scaling your growth strategies, but may feel like a big investment if you’re a smaller business just starting out and don’t need to scale your influencer or affiliate marketing efforts just yet.
The Bottom Line on Levanta
I think Levanta is excellent for managing products and affiliates. You can use it to find new influencers/affiliates, reach out to publications or discount sites, and quickly set discounts or sales. I like having all of this under one umbrella, and I think it would work perfectly for you if you sell a lot of products and you want to streamline some of these processes.
When to Use Archer Affiliates
Archer Affiliates is super easy to set up. Like Levanta, it’s designed for Amazon sellers, so you can quickly import products by connecting your account. Once you’re in, you can create deals and add coupons that expire automatically, which is useful.

Managing products is super easy to do, and I think the UI is pretty stripped back; you don’t have to be super tech-savvy to work out how to get around. For example, you can quickly view commission payouts and discounts on each item, search for an individual item, or sort them via different metrics to suit your needs.
Let’s talk about the influencer side of things. As I mentioned, anything to make finding new people a little easier is a good thing in my book. Archer Affiliates has a wide selection of vetted influencers, already trusted to create good content in a timely manner. This does cut down on some of the search efforts.
Archer Affiliates doesn’t have the same wide range of other options to pick from like Levanta (like publications or commerce tools). But there are a decent number of good influencers to work with here. Using the platform, you can negotiate commission rates within your own budget, which is useful if you’re just starting out.

Payouts are easy to see too. I like that you can quickly approve them in one click. I could see this saving me a lot of time when I’m dealing with a lot of influencers and products. I think in general, Archer Affiliates does make it easier to manage these relationships, cutting out a lot of time I would have had to spend vetting and contacting them myself.
I would say that Archer Affiliates is designed to nurture long-term relationships with specific influencers. They make this pretty clear on their website. I do like this. If you find someone you like working with, having a useful mutual platform to connect with helps to maintain that relationship and keep those professional boundaries in place at the same time.
I also think that you get the best work from enthusiastic people you’ve already built a relationship with.
But there’s definitely less to choose from on Archer Affiliates. If your strategy is to build up influencers quickly and get the word out there fast, you might be better off looking at Levanta or other platforms.

I do like the easy-to-understand analytics, though. You can find a quick overview on your dashboard, or you can click around to change metrics like custom date ranges. Right up front you’ll see click-throughs, total product sales, and total units sold, which is useful to know as a general health check for your business.
The obvious downside to Archer Affiliates is that there is no upfront pricing. This is good in a way, because you don’t have a monthly fee to pay. But the pricing scales in percentage depending on specific factors. For each sale, Archer takes a cut. And this means that it’s harder for me, as a small business, to factor in costs without knowing for sure how much I’ll be paying out.
Levanta also takes a cut, but the pricing is very clear depending on what tier you’re on, which makes it easier for me to commit to using the platform. If you’re just starting out, you might be tempted by the lack of a fee, but the percentage you pay per sale may catch you out later on.
The Bottom Line on Archer Affiliates
Archer Affiliates is designed to nurture long-term relationships with pre-vetted influencers. It does this job well, and the platform itself is very intuitive. However, the pricing could be clearer, and the pool of influencers/contacts is smaller than Levanta’s.
Levanta vs. Archer Affiliates: Which One Should You Choose?
I think this one really depends on your circumstances.
For me, Levanta is the clear choice for brands on Amazon, especially those that are already investing in paid marketing and looking to really scale growth through influencer marketing campaigns. Yes, there’s a monthly fee as well as a fee per sale. However, it makes managing a large number of products and influencers way easier. I like that I can quickly build up a strategy all within Levanta itself: I can reach out to publications and launch a wide-reaching influencer campaign all under one umbrella. I also like that the pricing is clear, so I can make long-term plans with accurate pricing information.
However, I do think that Archer Affiliates is a useful tool. The lack of monthly fee makes it way more approachable for those on a small budget, and I like that the influencers are thoroughly vetted. So I do think both platforms have their place.
